Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 3 September 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the UNIQBILL POS billing platform ("Service"), operated by UNIQBILL Systems, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Use of the Service

The Service is provided to help retail and business owners manage billing, inventory, and related business operations. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Free trial & demo requests

Free trial and doorstep demo requests submitted through this website are used solely to schedule and provide the requested demo. No payment is collected at the time of a demo request.

4. Data & privacy

Business, inventory, and invoice data entered into the Service belongs to you. We do not sell your business data to third parties. Data may be processed to provide core features such as sync, backups, and support.

5. Payments & subscriptions

Subscription fees, where applicable, are billed as agreed at signup. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. Prices shown on our pricing page are exclusive of GST (18%), which is charged in addition at checkout/activation.

The Service is offered in tiered subscription plans (currently Lite, Pro, and Premium), each with a different set of available features and a different monthly invoice limit, as described on our pricing page. Once a business reaches its plan's monthly invoice limit, new invoices cannot be created until the business either upgrades to a higher plan or the next monthly cycle begins. Feature and limit details are subject to change; the pricing page in effect at the time reflects the current plan structure.

6. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" basis. UNIQBILL Systems is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including loss of data or business interruption, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

8. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.

9. Standard billing terms (as printed on invoices generated via UNIQBILL)

Every invoice generated through UNIQBILL carries the following standard sale terms, in line with common Indian retail billing practice. Individual businesses may add their own additional terms on their invoices.

  • Goods once sold will not be taken back or exchanged, unless defective.
  • Exchange is accepted only within 7 days of purchase, with the original invoice and undamaged packaging.
  • No cash refunds — exchange or credit note only, as per the selling business's own policy.
  • MRP (Maximum Retail Price) shown is inclusive of all applicable taxes, unless stated otherwise.
  • GST, where applicable, is charged as per the rate shown on the invoice and the seller's GSTIN.
  • Product warranty, where applicable, is provided solely by the manufacturer/brand as per its own terms — the selling business is not liable for manufacturing defects.
  • Perishable, food, and opened/used items are not eligible for return or exchange.
  • Weights and measurements are recorded using equipment compliant with the Legal Metrology Act, 2009.
  • E. & O.E. — errors and omissions excepted.
  • The invoice must be produced for any exchange, warranty, or after-sales claim.
  • All sales are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts local to the selling business, as stated on the invoice.
